Meet the team! We proudly want to share with you the experiences that FRK provides for you! Come join us for the ride. Lettuce celery-brate Phaedra, the root to our team. Phaedra is the creative writer for Fresh Roots Kitchen. She is a junior studying Public Relations and Political Science. She is interested in speech or contract writing. Her hobbies include anything outdoors; hiking, camping and running are her favorites. She is passionate about the environment and wants to work in policy regarding environmental regulations. She spends her free time with her dog, her family and her friends. Let’s all root on for Sam! Sam Schmitke is a senior in Public Relations. She hopes to work in the corporate world of the food industry. She is the Team Leader of FRK and loves to be around people...and animals. When she is not doing schoolwork, she is hanging out with friends and family, dogs, or cooking. She hopes you enjoy FRK as much as she does! Lettuce meet Amy! Amy Warmenhoven is a junior at Washington State University. She will graduate with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Health Communication and Promotions. Amy is passionate about the medical and nutrition side of communications and hopes to work in healthcare PR. Amy is the creative designer of FRK. She creates all of the formatting, design and style for the company. Amy strongly believes that living a healthy lifestyle and putting good into your body is the most important mindset to be successful. I will be graduating this Fall semester and hope to find a job in a news firm in Seattle, Washington. Also, I have always had a passion for cooking, especially mexican food and beverages.
